While AI can provide temporary relief from loneliness, heavy reliance poses serious psychological risks. By outsourcing emotional processing to these tools, individuals risk developing unhealthy dependencies, much like forming attachments to non-reciprocal AI companions. This can replace genuine human healing with artificial solace and hinder the formation of new, healthier relationships.
